Adrian’s going to talk about the three months through three seasons he spent travelling from Kharkiv to Kherson through Ukraine’s ‘frontline’ villages.  He was making a documentary , from which he’ll show extracts, about a group of volunteers from a Scottish charity who arrived in the villages with 11 pizza ovens, put on loud music (to disguise the bangs), handed out free pizzas, and did face painting for the kids. The villages are populated by women, children and old men – the younger men have all gone to fight.
