Part-resident of Islip, Jonathan Kingdon, an evolutionary biologist and biogeographer at Oxford University's Biology Department, will tells us about his recently completed book "Origin Africa".  In the book he views our Continent of Origin as the multi-million-year-old setting for our emergence as just one of a great many species.

Kingdon’s book actually identifies a place, a time and a process for that first fateful rupture between ape and human lineages.  Along the way , Kingdon has drawn, painted and thought his way along his own African Life Time Safari
