Circular walk from The Abingdon Arms to Noke and back, drinks at the pub afterwards
The next community walk, on the third Sunday of month, will be on 20 February at 2 pm for about two hours - route tbc.
The Walk will be at 2 pm on 16 January, maintaining its usual slot of third Sunday of the month - route tba.
Meet outside the Abingdon Arms at 2 pm for a tree-themed walk to Sydlings Copse, a BBOWT reserve.
The walk, of up to two hours, will be led by Chris White, our Footpaths Warden. We hope to improve our tree recognition, pool our thoughts/knowledge of trees, make new acquaintances, and meet old friends. It may be muddy - dress for the weather.
WHY NOT LIVEN UP AN EASTER VILLAGE WALK WITH THE FAMILY BY FINDING THE ANSWERS TO SOME VILLAGE CLUES?
Answers to all the questions (except one) can be found in Brill Road, Oakley Road and up and down Horton Hill and Church Lane and all can easily be seen, though you may have to search a little bit and look around you carefully, including upwards!

This month’s Community Walk will be on Sunday 12th January, leaving The Abingdon Arms at 2pm and returning to the pub for drinks around 4pm. Chris White (Beckley’s Parish Path Warden) will lead a convivial winter walk in the direction of Horton cum Studley, linking with walkers from Horton if possible. Dogs welcome.
